At first, I was pretty certain that they got the "dislikes leadership" part wrong, because I love to be in charge. But then I started to think about it. Do I really? Really? Because, that means work. That means being responsible. Taking the blame if something goes wrong. Then I realized, I don't actually want to be in charge if the person in charge is competent and doing a good job. I just like to be in control. I hate not being able to say no to someone "over me" that I think sucks at their job. I think that's why I love my job so much. 3 days out of the week, I am in control of myself and my work space 98% of the time. I don't like it when the manager comes back and tells me to do something unexpected (okay, expected too), and I hate when more deliveries come, but that's something I deal with. Because as soon as those people leave my freight room, I'M in charge of figuring out the best way of getting it finished. YAY!
Anyway, let me know if you agree. Because if it's true, I think I have a lot of work to do. Except apparently I'm prone to laziness. So maybe I won't. I have an excuse now, you know. Science and all that.
Hrm. I tend to get ESFJ or ESFP though most of my stuff could easily swing either way (minus the E). Type "9" with a sexual variant. I dunno how accurate that is. It seems they always put stuff in there that most people can relate to.
ReplyDeleteI don't generally trust these kinds of tests. When you read something like that, you can usually make it all fit or not fit to your personality. It has a lot of things that are generally applied to most people - like that most people fear rejection in a relationship and most people dislike change.
ReplyDeleteI'd say instead to sit down and be brutally honest with yourself about yourself - the good things and the bad things - and write up your own description of your personality. You know better than anyone, whether you think you do or not.
Even tho I like Jung over Freud, I still don't subscribe to the ideology behind these sorts of "personality" tests...
ReplyDelete*sigh*
However, because some people take more weight with these things than I do (not mentioning any names here, but it rhymes with "Maomi") I would recommend that you take the test several times on different days to make sure you get the most accurate results. That way your mood and memory won't throw that much sway into things.
